I’m not sure if it counts as procrastinating or not but I’ve done a lot of techie things over the last few days, which is nice.

I’m sure that I have a lot of other things that I really need to be getting on with, but I can’t think of what they are at the moment.

I have successfully completed an installation of pi-hole which works brilliantly and seems to have eliminated any signs of advertisements that I have on my local network. I’ve also used it to block a few unsavoury websites. Installation was very straightforward and I’ve installed it on a Raspberry Pi 3 and all I need to do now is just put the Pi why in a location where it cannot be  unplugged easily. I’ve not noticed any network issues and any network requests seem to be fairly quick anyway (mind you, they are quite small requests in general).
