I’ve removed the power connector and the USB socket (as seen on mightyohm.com). It was a bit of a job to do. If there are ever crimes against machines or circuits, I’ll be on the list of the condemned.

I also tried to, er, modify the USB sound dongle and ended up cooking one of the resistors on the PCB so had to order a new one. I’ve now made a new mod to the board to take the new USB dongle on board when I receive it.
